Terms and Conditons & Prices regarding the Hire of Avoca Beach SLSC Function Centre

What better than to have your next function so close to beautiful Avoca Beach that your feet are almost wet.

The Avoca Beach Surf Lifesaving Club’s Function Centre is situated directly on the beach, with 180 degree views. The Main Hall can seat up to 200 with a dance floor, and should a larger function be required, an extra 60 people can be seated in the Bar Area. As the hall is unique in shape and not strictly rectangular, this blends itself to different table layouts and the large airiness and sense of free space also blends itself to function of just 60 people. Smaller gatherings can be situated in the Bar Area.

One of the best aspects of the Function Centre is the Bar Area, a separate area for people to mingle and mix, a place to “get away’ for a private conversation yet still be part of the function.

The Avoca Beach SLSC has:

Fully functioning industrial kitchen with servery
Fully functioning wet bar with cash operating facilities
Round table seating for 250 inside
Rectangle table seating for 40 outside
Parking access to two public parking areas right on our Clubs doorstep
The 'Club Room' for exclusive business meetings or smaller gatherings
The 'Observation Room' with extensive views of the beach for training exercises in groups up to 20

The Avoca Beach Surf Life Saving Club is completely BYO, including, linen &, crockery. Hire Includes:

Access to 25 round tables, 180cm
240 white chairs
scatter tables
Use of the hall, bar area, kitchen and surrounding balconies

Avoca Beach Surf Life Saving Club also has glasses available for hire: Champagne, Wine, Beer and Water, with prices dependent on your number of guests.

Avoca Beach Surf Life Saving Club also has specific bridal tables that can be arranged to suit your needs:

The bridal table is designed in 4 sections with a maximum size of 8400mm long. and 1050 mm wide. The legs are set in the middle of the sections so that they do not interfere with the seating of the wedding party.

For example, a bridal party of 8 can be set up in the following ways:

2 sections (4200mm long) will fit eight sitting in a row

Some weddings spread the party out by using 2 sections so that 6 sit facing the hall and the last people are on the ends so that they do not feel left out. This can be done because of the width of the table.

3 sections (6300 mm long) will really spread the eight people out. Some people like this so that it creates a large space for the bride and groom. It also makes it easier for the bride and bridesmaids to get in and out if their dresses are of the bulky style.
