SHARKIES

The Sharkies nippers program was the first inclusive nippers program on the Central Coast. Avoca Beach SLSC members Kate Broadhurst and Emma Benson began the inclusive nippers program in 2016.

The Sharkies participate in a modified nippers program which encourages children with physical, intellectual or emotional challenges to engage in beach and water activities. Support and guidance is provided by experienced club volunteers.
