Preseason paddle on the hawkesbury

Our river paddling weekend at Juno Point, Broken Bay Sport and Rec Camp, was a great success, with 30 people attending - from our youngest at 16 to our eldest at 82.

A huge thank you goes to Murray and Sue Braund: Sue for all her work with the food, and Murray for backing up on the water in his tinny, alongside Rocky and Jett Walters in the IRB.

We’re also grateful to Rob and Billy Hunter on the mothership Silver Cloud, and to all the paddlers and rowers who made the event so memorable.

Special thanks as well to Wayne Kemp for capturing some fantastic drone photography at Patonga, Kristy and Elle in the office for their help with the event application, and Mick Daniels at the camp, who made us all feel right at home.

We’re already looking forward to next year - hopefully with more young paddlers, and maybe on a weekend other than Father’s Day!
